The Big O

My name is Brad Shenaut and I fish bass tournaments in west central Illinois. We have used your Trailers for the past two years and we are hooked. In 5 tourneys this year we have 2 wins and 3 Big Bass wins using Dream Craw trailers. Our first win of the year came on only 4 keepers. We had 19.32 pounds. I also caught my biggest bass ever out of the lake and set the tournament record with a 7.85 lb. big bass. I love your stuff
and just ordered a bunch more Dream Craw Trailers.

Outcast Bass Anglers Angler of the Year

Coming on the heels of winning my first Outcast Bass Anglers Angler of the Year, we held our two day Classic on Lake Champlain on Oct. 9 and 10. Two days of practice lead to a few areas with good potential. The lake was muddy and the wind blew for 4 days. After zeroing in on rock and grass with moving baits for a limit I turned to a VENOM 1/2 oz. BLACK CRAW JIG and a DREAM CRAW for a trailer to upgrade. The result was a few good ones including a 4.2 lb. largie to give me the day one lead with 14 lbs. Day two proved to be a tough bite and the jig is all they would eat. I lost a solid 3lb. fish on a SLING first thing in the morning, but it did not hurt since I was still able the capture The Classic victory. There is no way I could have won back to back Classics without Venom on my side! Thanks VENOM for great products!!

By Steve Waters Sun Sentinel

The weather heated up Sunday and so did the fishing for big bass, as Thadeus Ragan and Linda Robinson caught 19.94 pounds of fish to top a 49-boat field and win the third King of the Glades 4 qualifier tournament out of Everglades Holiday Park.

Ragan and Robinson used Venom Frogs to catch their fish in the morning, then switched to jigs to catch fish in the canals along Alligator Alley. They won $1,000 and earned a spot in the trail's May 2 classic.

Ray Peterson and Bill Davis were second at 16.42 to win $500, followed by Steve McDonald and Steve Papp at 16.22, Justin Felzetti and Mike Menke at 15.62 and Bruce Swain and Wayne Fellows at 14.99.

Papp had the biggest bass at 6.52. Davis had the second biggest at 6.5. The final qualifier event is April 4. Call Mike Lendl at 754-246-3198.

In cooler temperatures Saturday, Dave Piasecki caught 12.82 pounds of fish using a Gambler weighted Wacky Head along Alligator Alley to win the South Florida Bass Pros? monthly club tournament out of Everglades Holiday Park. Greg Swinea was second at 10.98 using a Gambler Big Easy swimbait and a Giggy Head around lily pads on the Alley. Jim Wiese was third at 10.65 pitching a plastic worm to the lily pads. Carlos Suche had the big bass at 4.45 flipping a Gambler BB Cricket.

Outcast Bass Anglers

Fellas,
Yesterday Outcast Bass Anglers had our second tournament of the year on Candlewood Lake in Connecticut. With water temps in the low 60's we all know bass will be in the shallows. Despite knowing there were bedding fish, I didn't site fish due to the water being a little murky and windy blowing 15-20 for a good part of the day. I opted to work the inside weed edges just next to all possible spawning flats. I pitched a 4inch VENOM TUBE in green pumpkin/ copper flake t-rigged with a 1/4 oz. tungsten bullet and a 4/0 hook. They absolutely wrecked it all day! I had about 20 keepers and went through a dozen tubes. I finished in 1st place with 13.9 lbs.. This smallie was tx. lunker and weighed 4.9 lbs.
As always, I thank VENOM LURES for allowing me to represent and for the RIDICULOUSLY GREAT FISHING CATCHING BAITS!!!
Thanks, Mike Wiltshire
